Managing Partner
Dr. J.T. Eagan brings over 20 years of professional tax experience to the firm. He began his career in the Big 4, specializing in State and Local tax for large corporate clients. Today, his extensive expertise encompasses individual and business tax compliance, controversy and planning, merger and acquisition due diligence, and the implementation of tax technology solutions.
A highly respected figure in tax education, Dr. Eagan is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Accounting at the Purdue University Mitch Daniels School of Business. He is a contributing editor for the best-selling tax book J.K. Lasser's Your Income Tax, a contributor to McGraw-Hill Education’s taxation textbooks, and the Instruct Professor for Gleim Publications' EA and CPA review courses. He is frequently sought after as a speaker at professional and academic seminars, is published in the American Taxation Association Journal of Emerging Technologies in Accounting, and currently serves as the Vice President of the Indiana Society of Enrolled Agents.

Dr. Jaclyn Barkow combines her extensive background in academia with over 12 years of hands-on tax return preparation experience. Specializing in tax strategies for individuals and small businesses, she seamlessly blends rigorous academic theory with practical, proactive accounting solutions.
Dr. Barkow is a Clinical Associate Professor of Accounting at Indiana University Northwest, where she has spent over 16 years teaching, mentoring, and helping students launch their careers in the accounting industry. Alongside J.T. and Danielle, she is a contributing editor for the best-selling tax book J.K. Lasser's Your Income Tax. Highly active in her community and profession, she serves as a volunteer site coordinator for the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program and is the current President of the Indiana Society of Enrolled Agents.
Partner & Director of Payroll Services
Danielle Page-Edgington brings 12 years of professional accounting and tax experience to the firm, with nearly a decade dedicated specifically to public accounting. As Partner and Director of Payroll Services, her primary areas of concentration include individual and corporate tax compliance, as well as comprehensive payroll processing and payroll tax management.
Danielle holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy with a specialization in Taxation. Like her fellow partners, she serves as a contributing editor for the best-selling book J.K. Lasser's Your Income Tax. She holds an active Enrolled Agent credential and is a proud member of both the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA) and the Indiana Society of Enrolled Agents (ISEA).
Associate Director - Tax
Now in her tenth year of practice, Leizel Acres brings a wealth of specialized expertise to NWI Tax. Holding a Master's degree in Taxation from DePaul University, Leizel excels in assisting high-net-worth clients with complex financial landscapes.
As our Associate Director of Tax, she plays a vital role in bolstering the firm's Trust and Estate compliance services. Her deep understanding of intricate tax regulations and her meticulous attention to detail ensure that our clients receive comprehensive, top-tier guidance for both their immediate tax needs and their long-term wealth preservation strategies.
Tax Associate
Ella Hylek is a dedicated Tax Associate who brings fresh academic insight and a strong work ethic to the NWI Tax team. A recent graduate of Purdue University Northwest (PNW) with a degree in Accounting, she was highly active on campus, notably serving as the President of the Finance and Accounting Club.
Ella originally joined the firm as an intern and is now in her second year, assisting clients with comprehensive bookkeeping, payroll processing, and tax compliance matters. She is deeply committed to her professional growth and client success, and she is currently actively pursuing her Enrolled Agent (EA) designation.
